Your application worked like a charm and saved me endless hours of re-installing software on a Windows 2000 server (the Software hive was corrupt). Thanks again for the quick turn-around!

... I had a corrupt software hive, and every program we had at our disposal would crash when it got to the corrupt keys, or refuse to load the hive at all; regdatxp identified them, fixed them, and I had a fully functioning computer back ten minutes later ...

Thank you so much! Your nice program just saved me so much trouble. A single bad sector that happens to hit the registry hive could ruin the whole day.. Luckily I found your utility just in time and 99% recovery was possible.

I ran the corrupt recovery option in regdatXP, and it fixed the Software file without any problems! I was able to boot the NT sever without any problems. ... I genuinely saved a lot of time and effort, as the only options available were to reconstruct the corrupt registry components or rebuilding the NT server from scratch.

Your program was a lifesaver, and helped us restore nearly 100 web sites and email servers to the network. ... We downloaded and tried over a dozen programs that failed to read our corrupted SOFTWARE key before find yours.

In way of a testimonial, I would like to say that RegdatXP really came through for me, as did your timely response to my e-mail delivery problem. One of my two Win 2000 computers at work experienced the BSD after being powered down improperly. After failing to bring it up in safe mode, I transferred the hard drive to the second computer as a slave drive in order to scan it for errors. Somehow, the master drive in that machine got renamed as the J: Drive and soon developed a problem where I could no longer boot from it either. The boot partition drive letter was no longer matching the GUID, as described in the MS Knowledge Base Article 29321. As I could no longer boot from either machine, I installed another instance of Win 2000 on the second machine and used RegdatXP to modify the registry for the original instance as described in MS Knowledge Base Article 223188. The operation was a success! Thanks for a great product, and your assistance.

Just wanted to let you know that it worked great. I was able to get about 95% of registry back. Damn ... for corrupting it in the first place (System Standby Woes). You saved me from atleast a week of reinstalling and reconfiguring my desktop.

We have a computer repair shop, and subsequently we do a lot of upgrades. Until I found your program, it was next to impossible to recover a backed up registry file using regedit. In fact, the first time I used it, I was able to recover my mail rules and account settings in a matter of seconds, a task that would have taken literally hours to do.

Yes, I had a ugly problem on a Win 2000 Server system. The system refused to boot, and trying a repair, or an installation on same dir, shown the following error: *** STOP: 0x00000050 (0xE184A004, 0x00000000, 0x80520107, 0x00000001) PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA *** Address 80520107 base at 80400000, DateStamp 384d5a76 - ntoskrnl.exe After a lot of tests, I concluded it was a problem with the 'software' hive. I tried the chkreg.exe tool with no luck. (It said that was unsuccessful repairing the registry). So I did more research and found your program on internet ... It read the bad 'software' without problems, ... and yes, it finally solved the problem. ... So I'm really happy with it. :-)

I had just setup a new Windows 2000 server at a school with only 150 users but all with roaming profiles. The ntuser.dat files contained numerous references to the "old" server which wouldn't go away. With just Regedt32 I was manually scouring the hive looking for the references and was about to give up and recreate all the profiles. Luckily I found your program before that.
