From Suzanne:
For some of care2 members are never heard
of the Foie Gras, please visit the link at the end. The fatty
liver disease is the disease when the liver cannot relief the toxic out
of the body. People and animals die from the fatter liver
disease; then people love to pay for the higher price for the diseased
duck liver as a delicacy. This is very wrong not only for
betraying the duck natural habits but also it’s very cruel practice
meeting people’s appetites. There are 2 links where you can vote
NO. I appreciate it to cross-post it. Thanks again.

You Can Help!
- SB 413 has been
carried over to the 2006 legislative session. Illinois citizens are
again encouraged to contact their state representative to urge him or
her to support SB 413. You can find the name of your state (not
federal) representative and his/her contact information at http://vote-smart.org.
- Contact local
restaurants, and ask them to sign a pledge not to serve foie gras.
- Also urge
Illinois restaurants to write a letter of support for this humane
legislation.
- Write letters to
the editors of Illinois newspapers
