In September 1991, we opend the first
backpackers hostel in Germany, the "Rucksackhotel" in Lübeck.
All together we have about 30 beds, divided in two double rooms and
seven more-bed rooms.The bathrooms are on the first floor. Each
dorm has a basin.
On the ground floor there are two bedrooms with bathrooms suitable
for handicapped people. Also downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen
offering the opportunity to cook your own meals or to use our
breakfast service after arrangement. Each guest has it's own key to
come and go whenever he likes, so there is no
curfew!
