International Recital Series Bogenberg

The organ of the Pilgrimage Church Bogenberg has been built by the Austrian organ builder Rieger in 1994. It is placed in the historical organ case which dates back to 1730. The instrument combines elements of the romantic French organ tradition with modern technique. 31 stops on two manuals and pedals can be played with tracker action. 192 combinations can be provided.
Since 1994 every summer the church hosts the International Recital Series Bogenberg. By now more than 60 organ recitals took place, featuring important organists such as Edgar Krapp, Olivier Latry, Thiery Mechler and Wolfgang Rübsam.

The recitals always start at 5 p.m. Entrance fees are EUR 8.- (EUR 5.-)
The organists can be watched on a video screen.
